Translation Quotes

We provide free quotes for all our translation projects. In order to receive a quote for your translation project, you must provide Dixon Servicios Lingüísticos, SL, with the following:

• All files you wish to translate, preferably in an editable document format (.doc, .docx, .rtf, .txt, .html, .xls, etc.). Unless subject to an alternative agreement expressly accepted by Dixon Servicios Lingüísticos, SL, we provide closed quotes based on the analysis of the files received from the client. Each quote contains a listing of all the files included in the translation project. Any files received following the issue of an initial quote will be subject to a new quote.
• The target language(s). This may seem obvious, but we really do need to know into which languages you wish your files to be translated...
• The delivery date. Translation costs, as we explain in "the calculation of translation prices", are heavily influenced by the time factor and the resources available at any given time. By indicating your preferred delivery date (the latest date and time by which you must receive the translation), you facilitate the planning of your translation project and the reduction of costs.
• Client details. In order to receive a quote for your translation project, you must provide Dixon Servicios Lingüísticos, SL, with the following details*:
  • Full name/Company name
  • Full address
  • Contact telephone number
  • Tax code
  • e-mail address

All our translation project quotes specify the following details:

• The client in whose name the project has been requested
• The unique translation project code
• The files contemplated covered by the quote
• The number of words contained in each file covered by the quote
• The agreed delivery date
• The price of the translation project
• The payment conditions corresponding to the translation project

In order to accept a quote and activate a translation project, you must:

• Return a signed copy of the quote by fax
• Return a signed copy of the company's general conditions by fax

Once we have received the above documents by fax, work will begin immediately on your translation project.
